Dining with a side of Scenery

Do you enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment with team members who share our passion and perfection?

If so, we would like to hear from you!

Cincinnati Dinner Train is currently seeking part-time, experienced servers, kitchen staff, and passenger conductors.

The server’s duty is to pleasantly and efficiently participate on a team that serves up to 180 guests on the Cincinnati Dinner Train Saturday evenings. Specific tasks would include organizing dinner and dessert tickets, serving meals, serving beverages, serving bar drinks and busing tables. Set-up and clean-up duties would include filling stations, cleaning the dining areas, pulling trash and linens, and assisting the kitchen staff with restocking clean dishware and equipment.

CDT is also seeking retired railroad enthusiasts to fill our passenger conductor positions. Typically each dinner train run has four uniformed passenger conductors on board. The PCs give six talks in the car they are assigned to. These talks are of historic and Americana nature. The PCs also assist passengers on and off the train.

CDT has a complete training program for these paid positions.

We are happy to accept resumes year round in case of an opening that becomes available during our season. If you are interested in becoming a member of our staff, please email your resume to HR@cincinnatirailway.com.  Be prepared for a preliminary interview should we reach out to you.

We look forward to having you on the team!

Be aware that with the closure of the Norwood Lateral this Spring, you may need to plan an alternate route to get to the Dinner Train before departure at 6PM. We cannot hold the train for late arrivals due to rail line timetables. Thanks!
